2) The Inward Forest
Your autonomic nervous system is like a vast inward forest. It is distributed throughout your entire body: in your skin, in your internal organs, your hands, your feet...everywhere.
Most of us have been taught that our neurology is like a tree in winter. Some skinny branches moving away from the trunk lines of nerves.
But in reality, we are like magnificent Oaks in summer. Our inward forest is filled with trees wrapped in leaves. These leaves are able to receive sunlight and grow.
And like the leaves of a tree, they are accessible at the surface. You do not have to cut into the body to access your neurology. You simply need to skillfully change the inputs to your nervous system.
