IN AUTONOMIC PHYSIOLOGY

A BRIDGE FROM THEORY TO PRACTICAL APPLICATION.

What we currently understand about Autonomic physiology could change global health outcomes at scale within 12-18 months if it could be rapidly and skillfully implemented within local cultural contexts.

Current economic and healthcare paradigms and bureaucratic obstacles make this impossible unless we step outside of the established paradigm of economics, research, and deployment.

We have created a global network whose purpose is to radically accelerate and scale a global commons of wellbeing resources and technologies that can be customized, iterated, and applied in varying local cultural contexts around the world.

Learn More about the Foundation Model.

In 1994, psychophysiologist Stephen Porges, PhD proposed The Polyvagal Theory. At the time, he was studying heart-rate variability (HRV) in infants. The theory proposes two distinct vagal systems (poly=many) with distinct neurology that undergird differential actions on body and behavior. Polyvagal Theory (PVT) transforms our understanding of how the Autonomic Nervous System organizes our bodies, emotions, cognitions, and perception based on whether we feel safe or in danger. After fiften years of studying PVT, and working with over one hundred advisors in twenty-five disciplines of wellbeing from twenty-four cultures we are announcing a new Foundation Model in General Autonomics that addresses 27 conceptual, neuro-anatomical, and functional errors in PVT in a novel model of  Living Autonomics. .

An Autonomically-Informed Approach to the Cultivation of Enduring Wellbeing

Most of the health outcomes in your life will be determined by a part of your nervous system that most people know almost nothing about. Those who do know that it exists understand it almost not at all.

We are speaking, of course, about your Autonomic Nervous System, which is the neural architecture of the mindbody connection.

There is an ancestral pathway to enduring wellbeing that is surprisingly autonomic in nature. It goes something like this:

Safety is the doorway to connection,

Connection is the doorway to interoception,

Interoception is the doorway to intuition,

Intuition is the doorway to relatedness,

and Relatedness is the doorway to enduring wellbeing.

Join pioneering connnection phenomenologist Natureza Gabriel for a deep, rigorous, and elemental exploration of the neurobiology of connection, and what is required to activate and sustain elemental wellbeing.

Praise for The Neurobiology of Connection

  • You have waved a poetic wand over off-putting medical-eze and pulled the curtain back on the divine delighting herself in her magic shop. In this monumental work that is being constructed through you I get to press my nose against that glass. I tell people the work you are conducting is the science behind safety. Bravo maestro! Slam Dunk.
