In this 5-day depth transformational retreat with Natureza Gabriel and Marcia Miller, a yoga teacher with nearly 50 years of experience, we will deep dive into EMBODIMENT THROUGH THE LENS OF THE DEEP NERVOUS SYSTEM.

All of us are wearing a body, and whether we recognize it or not, one of the primary axes of embodied organization is the Autonomic Nervous System.

The Autonomic Nervous System contains the deepest and most powerful levers that govern our moment-to-moment experience of wellbeing.

Our bodies are, at some level, a historically-accreted epiphenomenon of how we have metabolized, or failed to metabolize, the allostatic load of our life's experiences.

There are three primary autonomic systems, and most people are centered to greater or less degree in one of them.

These are the Connection System, which undergirds salugenic (health-creating states).
The Movement System, which undergirds fight-flight responses.
The Grounding System, which in its lifethreat configuration undergirds shutdown states.

Each of these systems writes the neurological, chemical, and metabolic code for the body that we are wearing.

In this retreat, we will use the body as the primary doorway for learning the deep map of autonomic systems and how they inter-relate to scaffold the entire range of automic states that are the primary energy-processing templates for lived experience.
