FACE-TO-FACE RETREATS

For the things that cannot be learned remotely.

Multi-day in-person intensives in which practitioners learn to feel the autonomic model from the inside out. The framework becomes embodied knowledge, not conceptual understanding. Held at our own eco-reserves and select partner venues.

5-day Autonomic Tracking Retreat

Wednesday to Sunday, October 14-18, 2026

Northern California Eco-Reserve

FACE-TO-FACE ⌖ 5 DAYS

ADVANCED - AUTONOMICS BACKGROUND REQUIRED

5-Day Autonomic and Interoceptive Tracking Retreat

Settled Interoception is a foundational competency of clinical autonomic work. Before a practitioner can listen to the autonomic state of another, they must have genuine fluency with their own — the felt signatures of each state, the patterns of their own allostatic accumulation, the subtle visceral and chemical shifts that mark transitions in real time.

This retreat trains that fluency directly. Over five days, a curated transdisciplinary cohort works in an apprenticeship structure rooted in classical guild tradition. The model is not taught. It is inhabited.

THE FIRST ARC — Your Own System

Participants will deepen grounded interoceptive contact in their own body, map interoceptive deficits accumulated through allostatic load, and learn the visceral and chemical signatures of each autonomic state as they arise dynamically in lived experience. The work builds toward precise familiarity with how your own system deviates from baseline under stress — and personal pathways for shifting state by consciously modulating ANS inputs in real time. You cannot reliably hear what you have not yet learned to feel.

THE SECOND ARC — working with others

Three competencies are developed:

Visual identification. Reading the attributes of autonomic states on the Autonomics mandala as they appear in others — learning to see the changing landscape of state in vivo.

Interoceptive resonance. Developing objectively accurate interoceptive resonance with the states of others, so that the practitioner can feel them co-arising during a clinical encounter.

Leading-edge intervention. Identifying and working at the leading edge of the continuous load pathway — facilitating reorganization and reregulation where clients cannot return to baseline on their own.

WHO ATTENDS

Practitioners across the healing arts and coaching: physicians, psychologists, therapists, bodyworkers, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, mindfulness and embodiment teachers, and coaches at all levels of practice. Prior background in mindfulness, somatics, or embodiment work is expected. This is not an introductory course.

Admission is by selection.
