In this 3-day depth transformational retreat, we will teach the foundation model of autonomics, and translate it to the mbit framework for mbit mastercoaches.
Gabriel will teach the neurobiology of connection, scaffolded on The Neurobiology of Connection and its associated Foundation Model of Autonomics. Based on 30 years of research, crowd-sourced with more than 15,000 participants in 50 countries, co-created with input from more than 100 advisors in 25 disciplines of wellbeing across 24 cultures (many of them Indigenous), including a dozen of the world’s leading experts in connection and wellbeing, the Foundation Model unites the cutting-edges of autonomic physiology, neurochemistry, and ancestral lifeways into a living map of embodied autonomic states. Fluency in this map teaches humans how to locate themselves in the foundation layer of physiology that governs visceral state, sense of self, emotions, cognitions, the way we perceive the world around us, and the behavioral repertoires available to us. It teaches us how to transform from living in defensive states (fight, flight, appease, freeze, shutdown), which are necessarily pathogenic, into connection states that are salugenic (e.g., health-creating.)
We will then work to translate the insights from Autonomics to the mBIT coaching framework. In some cases Autonomics will refine the framework, in some places it may contradict it. In all cases, it will provide a more nuanced understanding of the neurological and biochemical drivers of autonomic states, how they come together, how they shift, how we can more adeptly cultivate salugenic (health-creating) states, and how we can work within our scopes to transform pathogenic (disease-creating) states, as well as how we can know when someone’s autonomic presentation has moved outside of our scope of practice.

There are two different ways to join this retreat.
The first option, which is entirely online, includes 15 hours of teaching over three days. It costs $1200 USD (discounted to $1000 USD until May 10.)
The second option takes place at Coeur Calme, a farm and retreat center in Southwest France. It costs $2000 USD, inclusive of accomodations, but exclusive of travel. You will need to get yourself to the retreat location. This option will put you face-to-face with a number of mBIT master coaches. Gabriel is, however, not going to be physically in France. He will be teaching from Northern California.
